Hi, I’m Sharon!
I worked in an office for many years, sometimes in an office building, sometimes from home. Sitting at a computer all day can be physically and mentally stressful. Once the day starts, it can be hard to find the time, or even the motivation, to stop and move properly, breathe properly, do something calming for the mind. Too many days like this, and my mood and energy suffered, and my body ached. So, I used to follow yoga videos in the mornings. I found if I didn’t do it before work, it didn’t happen.
Back then, if someone was leading 30-min morning Zoom yoga, I would have jumped at the chance to join! Instead, I created what I wanted. I now teach 30-min morning yoga on Zoom every weekday (7am UK time).
I want to help you establish a good morning routine so you can consistently take care of your body and mind. I designed Morning Reset Online Yoga because I know the classes and membership will help you. Because feeling tired, achy, or stressed in the mornings is not normal.
I love leading these 30-minute morning Zoom yoga flow classes. They provide accountability and motivation, both for myself and for the members. Some people follow along with the Zoom replay videos at any time. The group is supportive, and I’m really enjoying building this community of people who like morning yoga as much as I do.

How does this work?
Morning Reset Online Yoga classes are held Mondays to Fridays at 7:00-7:30am (UK time) on Zoom.
A: Click the orange ‘Monthly Membership’ button and sign up with your payment information.
B: Check your email (and spam folder). You’ll receive a confirmation email from the Offering Tree platform. You’ll then receive an email from me (Sharon) with information about the membership (usually within 24 hours). This will include an ‘Access Link’ to access live Zoom classes and Zoom replays, and an invitation to join the members only Facebook group.
C: Click your ‘Access Link’ (in your email from me) to register for live Zoom classes.
Click the orange ‘Single class’ button, scroll down the next page, click the blue ‘Register’ button for the class you want to attend, and sign up with your payment information.
Step 2: For each Zoom class you have registered for, you’ll receive a registration email plus a reminder email 30 minutes before the start time with a unique Zoom link (check your spam folder).
Step 3: Download the (free) Zoom app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Step 4: A few minutes before your morning Zoom class starts, click your invite link. You can choose to join with your camera on or off.
Step 5: Just before starting the class, I will mute everyone’s microphone. This is so you are not distracted by sounds in other people’s homes (e.g. a dog barking).
Option: Play some music to enhance your morning practice (this will not be heard by anyone else).
Step 6: Follow along as I lead you through the day’s Morning Reset Yoga class.
Step 7: At the end, you can choose to turn your microphone back on. Feel free to ask questions or discuss with me how you are getting on.

Morning Reset Online Yoga
Classes are held Mondays to Fridays at 7:00-7:30am (UK time) on Zoom.
Each 30-minute class provides a balanced morning practice as well as a slightly different physical focus (e.g. hip or shoulder opening, core strength, or twisting postures). You’ll improve strength, mobility and flexibility, balance, and stamina.
I provide precise cueing and options to increase or decrease the intensity. I start each morning class with a standing warm up and gentle versions of sun salutations to link movement and breath, further warm the body, and stretch and strengthen all major muscle groups. You’ll then hold a series of standing and floor-based postures. You’ll end the practice with a few minutes of meditation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time are the Zoom classes? Will it work for my time zone?
I lead 30-minute Zoom yoga classes every weekday morning at 7:00am (UK time). If you are not in the United Kingdom, please adjust to your local time zone. (Search Google for a time zone converter.)
What if I’m unable to attend the classes live?
Attending live in the mornings is great for accountability and motivation. However, if you prefer, you can access the Zoom replays at any time with the monthly membership.
What yoga equipment do I need?
It is a good idea to have a yoga (sticky) mat – this prevents you from slipping and provides a soft surface. Other types of exercise mats might be too soft and/or not very grippy.
We’ll spend a little time sitting on the floor, so you might want to have a cushion or folded blanket handy – sitting with your hips raised higher can make your hips and knees more comfortable.
What do I need to wear?
You need loose comfortable clothing. PJs work well for morning yoga!
How much space do I need?
You just need enough space for your yoga mat and a little space around it.
What if my house is noisy?
That’s okay! I will mute everyone’s microphone just before starting the class. This is so you are not distracted by sounds in other people’s homes (e.g. a dog barking). This also means you can play music if you wish, and this will not be heard by anyone else.
I’ve never done any kind of yoga before. Is this right me?
I lead movement-based yoga practices that do not include advanced or fast movements. I offer suggested modifications for some poses, and the classes are great for both beginners and advanced practitioners. However, you do need to be comfortable with getting up and down off your mat, and you will be moving your whole body. You are strongly encouraged to modify anything that doesn’t feel good, and to rest as needed. Whenever you start something new, there is a period of adjustment. With practice, you will likely find that your body moves with more ease, and your mind becomes clearer and calmer.
How will I know if I’m doing a yoga posture wrong?
There is an opportunity at the end of each live class to talk to me. You can also speak to me in the members-only Facebook group, by email, or in a one-to-one Zoom call.
Will this program help me lose weight?
This is not advertised as a weight loss or fitness program. However, weight loss, flexibility and increased strength are all possible benefits of moving your body and reducing stress and tension.
I attend a studio yoga class; will Morning Reset Online Yoga still benefit me?
Combining a weekly studio class with the Morning Reset Online Membership is a great idea! You will find that there are different and complementary benefits to both in-person and online classes.

I’m not familiar with Zoom; how will I learn how to use it?
If you are new to Zoom yoga, please be reassured: You don’t have to be a technical wiz, and you don’t have to be on camera if you don’t want. What technology do I need?

Will you be able to see me on camera?
With the live Zoom classes, you can choose to have your camera on or off. Either way, only I can be seen or heard in the Zoom replays.
My only internet device is my phone. Can I watch the classes on my TV?
Most modern phones and TVs can be connected, either with a cable or wirelessly. Please search Google for instructions regarding your type of phone and TV.
Do I need to be on Facebook?
No, the live classes are on Zoom. As a member, you will have access to a members-only Facebook group. However, it’s totally okay if Facebook isn’t for you – it’s not required for accessing the Zoom replays, and I will email important information to you.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes! If you don’t love Morning Reset Online Yoga, you can request your money back within 7 days.
What if I cancel my membership, then want to re-join later?
You can cancel and re-join the membership. I will be happy to see you back again whenever you are ready. However, please note that you will re-join at the rate at that time.
What if I’m still not sure if the classes are for me?
