So why should you join me for beginner friendly yoga? Glad you asked! 😊

Whether you are looking for yoga classes in person or online, my beginner friendly yoga will help you resolve stress, aches and pains and gently create a stronger, more flexible body and calmer mind.

Hi there and welcome to Sharon Rayner Yoga – the place where you can resolve stress, aches and pains and gently create a stronger, more flexible body and calmer mind through beginner friendly yoga.

Sharon Rayner Yoga exists because I, Sharon, understand one thing very clearly. And that is that you want to increase flexibility and strength, to achieve a calm mind, and to improve your physical and mental health. And you want that through yoga that is taught in an accessible and gentle way.

And more than that? You want to achieve all this with the support of an experienced yoga teacher who is passionate about helping YOU, and without fancy outfits, showy poses or yoga jargon.

Founded 5 years ago by me, Sharon Rayner Yoga started with a love of teaching yoga flow to those in my local community who want to keep their practice slow and simple.

And now? As well as teaching yoga flow classes in Littlehampton (West Sussex, England), I lead 30-min morning yoga flow online every weekday (7am UK time on Zoom or replay videos).

During 18 years of personal yoga practice, I was inspired to teach by Holistic Yoga Flow teachers, Travis Eliot and Lauren Eckstrom. Since graduating from 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training, I have studied with Jason Crandell, Nathalie Bennett, Ashley Hagen and Laura Green, including trainings in teaching beginners, yoga sequencing, injury prevention and management, yin yoga and chair-based yoga.

My passion for teaching a beginner friendly yoga flow style has continued to grow. With my precise cueing and options and variations for a range of abilities, I love seeing my students grow in confidence with their yoga practice as they progress towards their personal health goals.

At the heart of Sharon Rayner Yoga is dynamic breath-based mindful movement…
